It never seemed worth buying the Oliver and S layette pattern when it was released not so long ago as Freya would have outgrown it very quickly.  Lucky for me some friends have just had a baby and I knew just what I wanted to make for the new little boy.

Daphne Top and Parsley Pants

The other day I happened to look at Freya and notice that her clothes, especially her pants were definitely in the getting too small category!  This kid has just shot up!

I had admired this pattern since it's release but I figured I didn't really need another high bodice and gathered skirt pattern as it is a design I am drawn to and purchase again and again.  However when I saw it was being discontinued and on sale I finally took the plunge.
