Spotty Lotta Dress

This is the Compagnie m lotta dress, a pattern I bought as soon as it was released.  I mean, just look at those pockets!

Tiger Del Ray Bolero

I have seen Cotton and Steel fabric everywhere at the moment and this is my turn to jump on the band wagon.  I walked past this fabric lots of time at the shop and it really didn't appeal much to me if I'm honest.  It's amazing how fabric can do that sometimes on one day and then the next you most definitely NEED it right then and there!  That's what happened here.

Flowery Roller Skate Top

The other day in Spotlight I spotted some of Cloud 9's Wildwood fabric collection by Elizabeth Olwen, and I swear I almost did a happy dance on the spot!  I have admired this range of fabric for a long time so without further ado I snapped some up.  I only got half a metre of this one, determined to make Freya a top.  I knew straight away the Oliver and S Roller skate tunic would be ideal.

Sally dress for a wedding day

We had a wedding to go to for James' cousin so naturally my thoughts ran straight to what could I make for Freya?  It's nice to have an excuse to make something a bit dressier.

Chambray Library Dress

I'm calling this my copycat dress.  After seeing some lovely versions of this pattern sewn in a chambray type fabric I decided to sew one up as well.

Butterfly Geranium Top

It is official, I think the geranium dress/top pattern has to be one of my all time favourite patterns!

A Review and Goals for next year

I'm pleased with the sewing I've done this year.  I think I've tried to do a variety of styles and a few old (and new) favourites.

I think my most worn item has been the first Louisa dress I made.  After wrangling with the zipper it fast became a very practical, yet nice looking dress.
